| Criteria:
Projects are evaluated according to: - The applicant's personal/professional reasons and goals for promoting AIDS and health education;
- The applicant's background and professional qualifications for carrying out the project;
- The degree of collaboration with organizations and agencies to advance these goals;
- The extent to which the information from the project will reach a wide range of people in the local community.
Application Procedures: Applicants should send proposals addressing the criteria set out above. Please send 2 copies (1 original and 1 photocopy) of all documentation. These proposals must also include: -
Goals and rationale for the project; -
A budget specifying anticipated expenses; -
A complete description of the project with a timeline for completion; - Three reference letters from related agencies or potential beneficiaries of the project; and

A review of research or practical experience to support the project. Evaluation Procedures: Applications are evaluated by a committee that recommends grant recipients to the TEAL Charitable Foundation Board of Directors. Applicants can expect to receive notification within two months of the deadline. Only successful applicants will be notified in writing. Amount of Award: Grants vary up to $3,000, payable upon satisfactory completion of the selected projects. Advance partial payment may be considered on an individual basis.
