B.C. TEAL
The Spring 2010 Newsletter is here

The Spring 2010 edition of TEAL News is now ready for download! Download it from Publications >> Newsletter download, or click here

Articles in this issue of the newsletter cover a range of topics, many of them anchored in professional development conferences of one sort or another. The TESOL Convention held in Boston earlier this year is reported on by Karen Rauser. TESOL also inspired Barbara Siennicki's contribution to the Wired Teacher column. The conference co-chairs for the 2010 BC TEAL conference report on their successes. TEAL conference attendees will remember the David C. Lam recipients, whose essays are printed in this newsletter. The theme of the conference was assessment, and this is the issue at hand in 1 Topic, 3 Takes. And two instructors from the ELI at UBC introduce us to the Cambodia TESOL conference where they presented in February.

Additionally, the Teaching Tips column features Alma Krilic's ideas for working in multi-level classrooms, and Dr. Li-Shih Huang from the University of Victoria brings us a new column in which she'll focus on Key Concepts and Theories in TEAL.

Enjoy reading the spring issue. Send your feedback to editor@bcteal.org!
